A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the S1's behavior.
When I tried the S1, it was able to map the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station if needed.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when required. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can control by defining a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent, navigating small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide distance around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris, but it can't always reach every last bit of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on cost by removing mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 has some of the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. vacuum bot has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The K10 Plus also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot can recognize carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
